Billing

Pay your bill.

Statements are paid online through Prompt, our secure patient portal. Here is what to have ready, and who to call if something on the statement does not look right.

Pay online

Pay a statement through the patient portal. You will be asked to sign in or create an account.

Continue to Prompt

Opens Prompt, our secure patient portal, in a new tab.

Ask about a statement

A charge you do not recognize, or an insurance payment that has not posted? Call before you pay and the billing team will look at it with you.

Before you start

Have these ready

  • Your statement

The amount due and the patient's name exactly as the statement shows it. If you are paying for a family member, use their name, not yours.

  • Your Prompt sign-in

Payments are made inside Prompt, our secure patient portal. It is the same account used to book online; if you have never signed in, you can create the account when you arrive.

  • A few minutes

The portal opens in a new tab so this page stays here. When you are done, keep the confirmation for your records.

If paying is a difficulty

SportsCare reviews financial hardship requests privately, and the outcome never affects the care you receive.

Step by step

What happens when you pay online

  1. Continue to Prompt

The button below opens the portal in a new tab. You will see the portal's own name and look, not ours — that is expected.

  2. Sign in or create your account

Use the account you book appointments with, or create one. The portal will ask for a few details to match you to your records.

  3. Pay the statement balance

Enter the amount from your statement and complete the payment. Save the confirmation.

FAQ

Common questions

I have a question about a charge on my statement. Who do I ask?
Call the main office at (973) 887-0115. A charge you do not recognize, an insurance payment that has not posted, or a balance that looks wrong is quickest to sort out by phone, before you pay.
Can I pay at the clinic instead?
Yes. Any clinic's front desk can take a payment toward a statement during opening hours. Online is simply the option that does not need a visit.
The amount is more than I can pay. What are my options?
SportsCare reviews financial hardship requests privately, and the outcome never affects the care you receive. The request form, and what it asks for, are on the financial hardship page.
Why does paying take me to a different website?
Prompt is the patient portal SportsCare uses for scheduling, records and payments. It is run for us, not by us, which is why the page you land on carries its name. The link on this page is the one we use.
