These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of sportscare1.com (the “Site”), which is operated by SportsCare Institute Inc. (“SportsCare,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is not medical advice

The information on this Site — including descriptions of conditions, treatments and what the research shows — is provided for general education. It is not medical advice, it does not create a provider–patient relationship, and it is not a substitute for an evaluation by a licensed clinician who has examined you. Never delay seeking care or disregard advice from your own clinician because of something you read here.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use this Site to request urgent care.

Requesting appointments online

Submitting an appointment request through the Site, or through the third-party scheduling portal it links to, does not by itself book an appointment. A request is confirmed only when a member of the clinic team contacts you. Please do not send detailed medical information through the request form; save it for your visit.

Your health information

Health information you share with us as a patient is protected under HIPAA and handled as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. Information collected by the Site itself is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Both documents are part of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates federal, state or local law;
• Submit false information, or impersonate another person, when requesting an appointment or contacting us;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or the systems connected to it;
• Use automated means to scrape or copy the Site’s content at scale, or to interfere with its operation;
• Upload or transmit anything that contains malicious code.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — text, graphics, logos, photographs, video and design — are owned by SportsCare or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view, print and download pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including republishing or redistribution, requires our written permission. “SportsCare” and the SportsCare logo are trademarks of SportsCare Institute Inc..

Third-party links and services

The Site links to services we do not operate, including our online scheduling and payment portal, our recruitment portal, and mapping and research websites. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. A link does not imply endorsement.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep its content accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete, error-free or uninterrupted, and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Clinic hours, services offered at a given clinic, and insurance participation can change; confirm with the clinic before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SportsCare and its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here affects the care you receive as a patient, which is governed by your treatment relationship with us.

Changes to the Site and these terms

We may change the Site, and these terms, at any time. When we change the terms we will update the effective date on this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
