Although we have over 65 locations, SportsCare Physical Therapy still has a personal feel that comes from our capable caring staff. From the front desk to the aides to the physical therapist, we focus on creating an inviting atmosphere where each patient feels at ease from the moment they come in. Our goal is to make the entire patient experience an enjoyable one.
What should I bring to my first physical therapy visit?
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check-in.
- Bring a Photo ID (valid driver’s license, valid state ID, school ID card, or valid passport)
- Bring all necessary medical records, physicians prescription, list of medications, radiographs (MRI’s, X-rays), etc.
What should I wear to my treatment sessions?
Wear or bring comfortable athletic type clothing (t-shirt, shorts, or sweatpants) that allows for easy access to your injury site and allows you to easily move around.

Your First Appointment Experience
Your therapist will take the time to get a thorough medical history and complete a physical exam measuring your strength, range of motion, flexibility, posture, mobility, balance and coordination. They will assess your specific injury and provide focused treatments and exercises to help you return to your previous level of function. Your therapy and treatment for your injury is tailored to you. Your therapist will answer your questions and put together an exercise program to take home with you.
